We're great fans of thoughtful, functional design here at Nichinichi, and this adjustable side table is one of our favourite pieces recently. The design seeks to solve usual problems observed from the typical coffee table, for example, having to bend downwards to pick up items, and not being able to fit functional objects such as the rubbish bin under table.
As such, the design incorporates an adjustable base such that under table space can be better utilised. Through adjusting the height, users can enjoy more flexibility with furniture placement, as the table top could avoid knocking into electrical outlets etc.
We also love the thoughtful cable management offered, with a small ledge at the back for a compact extension cord. A removable acrylic panel helps to conceal mess. (Please refer to Pictures 5-6.)

Solid Wood
This product uses natural solid wood. As each piece of wood is unique, please note that the actual product you receive may have slight variations in terms of wood grain or colour tone from the pictures on this page. Our raw materials undergo a rigorous picking process during production to minimise significant visual variances. However, you may still observe natural occurrences of knots, mineral streaks, hairline cracks and other small differences (please refer to the picture above). These do not constitute as defects and are not acceptable as a reason for refund.
Please also kindly note that the colour of some solid woods such as cherry wood matures over time. You might observe a darkening of colour shade after a period of usage (please refer to the picture above). This is a normal phenomenon and is not a defect.

While we take care to polish the stainless steel before sending your furniture, you may still find trace amounts of black spots/lines on stainless steel due to oxidation.

- Avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight as prolonged exposure can remove moisture in wood and cause cracks.
- Occasionally wipe the product with a damp cloth to maintain appearance.
- Avoid placing very hot objects on the wooden surface directly, as it may damage the protective oil layer that was used to seal the wood surface.
- Avoid prolonged exposure/soaking the wooden surface with chemicals or solvents to prevent damaging the protective layer.
- After a long period of usage, you may choose to apply a new layer of wood wax oil on the surface to renew the product's appearance and prolong its lifespan.
